My Faith and Testimony

Growing up to a city where you've learn a lot of memorable experience is fun. I've learn how to love my wife and family, value my faith and helping myself live the correct principles that was taught to me by my parent, leaders and my faith in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

I was called to serve and handle a responsibility to lead a ward from our Cebu City Stake. I have seen many miracles, received strength and many revelatory experiences. I'm always uplifted and strengthen with many strong testimonies of recent converts especially converts that are humble and seekers of the truth. Seekers for the truth with a strong determination to know and follow will always be guided and be blessed.

One of my greatest gratitude is my lovely parents. During their earlier days may parents where believers of God but don't exactly what to do. We go to church but my mother is still concern with my father. My father is still the man that he saw before and didn't have changes. One day they meet a missionaries from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and my mother told the missionaries that if my husband would change I would join your church.  During that time my father was experiencing disability because he broke his backbone during his work. The doctor told him that at least you can still leave up to 10 years. Then my father was humbled until he question something about God existence.

Now because the missionaries we're visiting my parents and we we're still so young that time. I think I'm still 4years old that time. Don't know what is happening but I believe I remember that my father is wearing a supporter that time.  Anyway the conversion began and all of my father question regarding about God and life we're answered. They take the challenge to be baptize or to make covenant with the Lord through proper baptism set by Jesus Christ and it was so.

My parents we're baptized and they are now a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints which commonly called Mormons. I was greatly blessed by their decision and  by sharing it to us.

I'm happy that they had accepted the Gospel of Jesus Christ and taught me the importance of these truth. As I grow up I have a choice either to follow or not. But the challenge was still on me to know if its true or not. I've studied the Book of Mormon learn what was written including the Bible. I had contemplated so much on the matter and prayed on it. One time I'm almost done reading the Book of Mormon and that time there was a great desire to pray. I pray and as I pray my eyes we're in tears and through the power of holy ghost it bear record that this things are true. I've realized that this is coming from above in which I can't deny it. My whole body feels so different and I know that the spirit has greatly answering my prayers about what I been asking. With these answers I had believe that he had restored his church through a prophet in this latter days by the name Joseph Smith. All of the revelation given to this man was confirmed that I need to know the law and follow or obey them. I do testify that indeed it had bring me joy and happiness to my life and family. I know that if I stay faithful to the end I know that all of the ordinances for exaltation that I made can be fulfilled.

During this time we have many activities that is going on and one of them that I would like to share is about our program which is called "Do you have my name". The meaning of this activity is to be able express the stories of their ancestors who had made some great difference in this world. We had invited members in our stake and filled up our chair in our chapel.  It is indeed a very spiritual experience for us and to the participants because we have heard many great stories of great people who have great knowledge and experience. In our believe we know that they are important to us and through the restored gospel of Christ we can still be with them through Baptism by proxy and this can only be done through the temple. I believe there are many out there waiting, waiting until their ordinance can be perform so that they can be able to have to opportunity to be save in the Kingdom of God.

After that we have taking some picture with us as a young couple in the hallway of our chapel.  We are so happy because we are really close to the Cebu Temple which is a Holiness to the Lord a house of God.

Here are some of the picture that we've taken.
